The increasing demands on school staff from both home and school life means more staff are struggling. Headteachers, Governors and Senior leaders are acutely aware of the impact this can have on school life, including absenteeism, staff retention and morale.
Kalmer Counselling offer school support in three ways;
At Kalmer Counselling we offer a diverse range of training and consultancy support for all members of the school community. Kalmer Counselling can work with your school to advise on your mental health and wellbeing strategy. This can be in person, online and or over the phone and can be as in-depth as required. The number of consultations are relative to your schools needs.
Kalmer Counselling has developed an in-depth staff mental wellness strategy framework for schools to develop and adopt. We will come into school to consult on the framework and provide concepts, strategies and ideas for you to integrate into your tailored school framework. Kalmer Counselling can work with your school to advise on your mental health and wellbeing strategy. This can be in person, online and or over the phone and can be as in-depth as required. The number of consultations is relative to your school's needs.
We offer a number of staff mental wellness workshops designed to tackle the common mental health themes staff are experiencing. These include but are not limited to;
Alongside pupil counselling we also offer staff counselling, this can be within the school setting or staff can visit our therapy centre for one-to-one sessions. This can be delivered as a one-off, short term or long-term counselling. Our crisis team can deliver one to one or group counselling following a crisis that impacts your school.
