Do you need to fill up your cup?⁠

Sometimes we need to actively work at filling up our cup, don't let it get completely empty before taking time to pour in more of the good stuff. ⁠
⁠Everything that makes you feel good will fill up your cup, chatting to friends on Facetime, playing a board game as a family, taking a walk in nature are all excellent.⁠

Sometimes when our cup empties we find ourselves with a Serotonin deficiency we feel like we can't be bothered to go out and take a walk, or cook our favourite meal but this is exactly the time we need to. When we do, the happy hormones come flooding back to fill up our cup.⁠

What can you do to fill up your cup this week?

How often do you tell yourself you can't do something, or you are not good at something? Rather than focus on what you are not yet able to do, tell yourself you are still learning and that you will be able to do it if you persevere. ⁠

When you tell yourself you can't do something and therefore you should quit, try reframing the self-talk and tell yourself that, you can try again.⁠

Switch up your self talk! Try it today. Talk to yourself the way you would a child, supportive, reassuring, positive. Be supportive and reassure yourself rather than being critical.
