The Ethical framework presents what is expected of all of their members and registrants of BACP, as well as practitioners providing therapeutically-based services – particularly coaching, counselling, pastoral care and psychotherapy.
Our ethics are based on values, principles and personal moral qualities that underpin the interpretation of ‘Our commitment to clients and Good practice’. We have committed ourselves to the principles and values set out in this Ethical Framework and recognise that our membership or registration may be at risk if we fail to fulfil our commitments.
As members of the BACP, Kalmer Counselling are committed to sustaining and advancing good practice.
Being ethically mindful and willing to be accountable for the ethical basis of practice are essential requirements of membership in this Association.
